How ParksQuest Works

Explore parks, record the places you visit, and turn those visits into quest progress and badges.

1. Explore parks

Find parks near you, browse by state, view park details, and decide where you want to go next.

2. Join quests

Choose adventures that interest you. A quest shows its qualifying parks, availability, and the progress needed to finish. Join a quest to add it to My Quests.

3. Check in

Select a park, visit date, and profile. You can also add a rating, activities, and a note about the visit.

Already visited parks?

Use Build Park History to add past visits. Use an exact date, enter only the year, or choose Date not remembered.

4. Earn and remember

Check-ins advance eligible quests and unlock badges. Your visit history keeps the memories together for each profile. Qualifying visit history alone does not join a quest for you.

Create profiles for yourself, family members, or pets so everyone can have separate visits, quest progress, and badges.
