Profiles keep each person’s or pet’s ParksQuest activity separate. Check-ins, badges, and quest progress belong to the profile that earned them.

• Your profile represents you and is normally selected by default when you check in or view your progress.
• Managed profiles let family members and pets participate without needing their own ParksQuest accounts.
• When a person is ready for an account of their own, use Invite to Claim on their profile. Create the invitation using the email address they will use for sign-in.
• After they accept the invitation, the profile permanently transfers to their account. All existing check-ins, badges, and quest progress stay with the profile, but you will no longer manage it.
• You can revoke a pending invitation before it is accepted.
• Inactive managed profiles still count toward the free profile limit. To permanently remove one and free a profile space, make it inactive and then use Delete Permanently. This also deletes all of that profile’s visits, badges, and quest history.
